Adobe PhotoShop Basics

Learn the basics of Adobe Photoshop in this instructional class.  All class attendees must have an NRH or NTLC member library card in good standing to use the computers where PhotoShop is installed. Please read The Maker Usage Policy for more information. This class is open to those 9 years old and older.

This class will only be a visual instruction; attendees are invited back into the space on their own time to practice with the software themselves. 

Please arrive early to the class so that it can begin on time.

In this class you will learn:

-What type of projects to create in PhotoShop

-The purpose and appropriate use of all of PhotoShop’s different file types

-All of the tools in the toolbox and what they can be used for

-How to use layers and adjustment layers

-How to select and mask to adjust images without destruction
